My stay at Mercure Vung Tau Resort was mostly good, featuring beautiful ocean views and a unique beach swimming pool. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, which added a personal touch to my experience. However, I encountered a few hiccups like average meal options and some issues with noise in the room, which slightly detracted from my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
9.0
I was fortunate to have a room with a sea view and a spacious balcony on the 2nd floor, offering a fantastic view of the ocean. The room was spotless and comfortable, though I felt some areas were a bit oversized with wasted space.
Service
8.0
The staff, especially Ly and Duyen, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making my check-in and stay pleasant overall. However, I wished there was more proactive service by the pool; I found myself needing to go to the bar for drinks because no one approached me.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is a highlight, with a private beach that is well-maintained, making it a great escape from Vung Tau's general reputation. I enjoyed the proximity to the town, just a short walk away, which made getting around easy.
Dining
7.0
While the breakfast buffet was delicious, I found the overall dining experience could use improvement, particularly with the Western menu options. The Asian selections were good and offered a good blend of local flavors.
Facilities
8.0
The resort has great facilities, including a well-kept pool and gym, accessible for relaxation. Room service and other amenities were well managed, although I hoped for a little more variety at the restaurants.

5.8/10

My stay at Mercure Vung Tau Resort was quite enjoyable. The service was really good, especially from team members like Hieu and Chi. The facilities were beautiful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, the noise from the nearby bar made rest a bit challenging at times.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were lovely and spacious with comfortable beds. although the hillside room had some drawbacks, including having to cross a busy street for access to hotel facilities.
Service
9.0
The service was efficient and friendly. Hieu's communication via WhatsApp before and during my stay was a nice touch, making me feel valued.
Location
7.0
The location was convenient. but crossing the busy road to get to the beach and restaurant made it a bit less appealing, especially for families with young kids.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a highlight with delicious food and stunning views. though I wished there were more variety, particularly for Western cuisine.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel facilities were well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. however, the seawater pool was not operational, which led to crowding at the regular pool.

6.6/10

My stay at Mercure Vung Tau Resort was quite the mixed bag. The rooms, especially the beach-side option, provided stunning views and comfort, while the resort itself felt well-maintained and offered a private beach. However, I found the dining options to be a letdown when it came to Western selections. Overall, it's a lovely spot, particularly for those looking for a beach escape, but I wish there were better dining choices.

The Deluxe King Room with a Sea View was lovely, combining space and comfort. I loved the peaceful sound of the waves at night, which made for some of the best sleep I've had in a while.
Service
10.0
The team at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs, making my stay feel special from the moment I arrived.
Location
8.0
While the resort is a bit further from the center of Vung Tau, I enjoyed the peaceful environment. It was just a 20-minute stroll to the town, and a quick taxi ride if I felt lazy.
Dining
6.0
The food options were a bit uneven. I really enjoyed the local dishes, especially the pho, but the Western selections left much to be desired. I had hoped for a cozy meal without venturing outside, but it wasn't quite up to par.
Facilities
9.0
I appreciated the amenities, including the swimming pool and gym. The resort really felt like a Mediterranean haven, and the maintenance around the private beach was commendable.

I had an overall nice experience at Mercure Vung Tau Resort. The stunning views and spacious rooms made for a relaxing getaway. although the dining options and service could use some improvement. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were moments when things felt a bit disorganized, especially during peak times.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, set within a lush landscape. I really enjoyed the beautiful views. although the balcony design wasn't ideal for enjoying the ocean.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff were lovely and accommodating, especially at the reception. However, there were a few hiccups with the dining service, as some orders took longer than expected.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly situated, making it easy to access both the ferry and nearby beaches. I appreciated the tree-shaded areas that let me enjoy the ocean breeze right from my lounge chair.
Dining
6.0
While the food was decent, I found the dining options to be somewhat limited. The breakfast buffet had its highlights, but I felt the restaurant could benefit from a more diverse menu and better organization.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were well-maintained, offering everything from the infinity pool with fantastic views to room service. However, a few additional touches for comfort, like fans in outdoor areas, would enhance the experience.

My stay at Mercure Vung Tau Resort was good overall, highlighted by excellent service and beautiful rooms. However, I did encounter some issues with dining options and staff communication, which detracted from the experience. Still, the location and amenities made for a nice vacation.

The hospitality was great, especially from Ms. Duyen and her team, who were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Location

Situated on the picturesque south side of Vung Tau, the resort offered stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach, making it a perfect escape.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience could use improvement; while breakfast had ample Western and Vietnamese options, the dinner service was subpar and lacked variety.

The resort had excellent facilities, including both a pool and a private beach, but it was busy during weekends which might affect accessibility.
